My batter was so thick it would not pour as you said in directions. I added a little more butter to help some. It was OK but not a favorite. I think it needs a topping or some sort to add more flavor.

When I made this there was no way you could "pour" the topping over the apples as it was too thick. I ended up adding 1/2c milk. What did I do wrong?
