Taken from a recipe on here for a relish; instead I made a Tart with fresh cranberries, two kinds of apple, dates, juice and rind from half an orange, and I added vanilla and ginger. The tart crust was a recipe on the back of the bag of pastry flour. I prefer to use butter in my pie crust, not shortening. This is similar to my "Mock Cherry Pie", but obviously has apples and dates. It's "tart" too, the way we like it.
