You are welcome Sasha. I know what you mean, we had 'real lunch' and now.......well.
I love the lunches back when I was in school as most of my friends did. I worked in the cafeteria when my Children were growing up and it had really change then.......now, well it is now even close to a real lunch.
The Children now days throw most of what's on their tray away....it's such a waist.

OMG, we loved the rolls they used to make in the cafeteria at Walnut Hill School in Dallas, TX. We'd wait until they came out of the oven and rush up with our nickels to get our fresh, soft, hot rolls -- 3 cents for the roll, 2 cents for a pat of butter! They don't serve real plate lunches in the schools now, more's the pity. Thanks for sharing, Cin.
