Oh you are so right there is nothing like home made. But when we have a lot of running to do we usually grab a bite..at Louie's.... this is a small family owned place...small but good!

I like homemade rather than eating them out.......if we do eat them out we go to a Mom an Pop diner called Patrick's. For a "dipping sandwich" we go to a place called Grub's.

Ha ha ha sometimes my husband will take the leftovers and put it in a bowl and use bread to sop up the au ju....and sometimes if I have room in my freezer, I'll make a huge batch of the au ju and freeze it...make a great base for " French onion soup "...
Hope you are having a wonderful day! I'm making enchiladas for dinner....how about you...what'cha'making?????

I could just dip/lift it out of this pot with thongs and put on the roll and eat it that way.....looks so moist and juicy.

Good morning Cin, while it may look dry to you, trust me once you dip it into the hot au ju it almost melts in your mouth!
Have a great weekend!

I just didn't know it would be that dry after draining it. Was just asking...love the recipe.

When you remove the meat and onions they do drain off. I really don't know what else to say.

This looks like it would make such a nice "wet" moist sandwich......but the sandwich you've got put together looks dry???
