After melting the butter and sautéing the celery and onion, I added the can of vegetable broth and ONE of the 32oz sizes of Chicken broth. Then I measured out the other 26oz of broth from the broth made when boiling the breasts...No WASTE.
After adding the chicken, carrots, noodles, oregano and basil and simmering for about 20 minutes...you get the finished product....my bowl of soup. I did not add any salt or pepper to this soup as I cooked the breasts in salt water.
