Sherri I shopped around for a while and purchased mine on Amazon. It's a ChefsChoice 610 and I think it was around $100. It does a really nice job of slicing! I use it for bread, meat and now veggies (thanks to you)...:)

I used our meat slicer...just wasn't paying attention to how thin...but they did turn our really nice. Jimmy give it a 2 thumbs up! I love the Everglade seasoning! I couldn't believe I found it in our small town local grocery store...and I've noticed they are keeping it stocked...yippee

i used a mandoline...most of the time i slice them by hand.
