oh dee that happened to me once but it was with my thanksgiving turkey. it had cooked for a while and the house smelled amazing from all the thanksgiving smells lol so i never noticed that the oven had been turned off. probably someone had bumped the dial while reaching for a spice or something..anyway when it was time to eat i had no turkey because it was a 20 something pound bird and had only cooked for an hour ugh!
at least the cake tasted great lol i couldnt eat my turkey lol
