YUMMM...Followed recipe with one exception. We love onions, so I sliced a large white onion and lined the baking dish with the slices before adding the browned cube steaks. Then I continued to follow the recipe. I found that thicker cube steaks take a bit longer than the 1 hour listed...perhaps another 15 minutes or so. Next time, since we also like a lot of gravy, I will add another 1 cup of water with 2 teaspoons of granulated beef bouillon. Steaks were served over a bed of basmati rice with a side of fresh green beans, and the family went looking for more! Thanks for this quick and easy recipe.
