I don't think it would matter on the brand of ice cream. Mine didn't rise ay all, but I converted the self rising flour to all purpose .

Hi! I'm new to this but I jumped right in here with the odd recipe! My daughter and I poked holes in the bread with a straw and then poured a powered sugar glaze on it and let it soak into the bread. Then we dusted it with cinnamon sugar. We liked it this way...( :
