Modesto is ok but I think I prefer San Jose...nothing like home huh. If I were looking for a job though Modesto would be the last place I would want to live. Unemployment is so high here. I still have family living in San Jose so I still make the trip for holidays sometimes. :)

I made the dish and we ate part of it but decided it needed more sauce. So on top of the already made dish I added more sauce and then of course more cheese. My husband loves pasta and once he saw it come out of the oven again with all of that melted cheese he was all over it...a second time. With the extra sauce I think it was quite good. I might try using Kielbasa next time and fry it in a little butter before adding it to the pasta.
There is only 2 of us at home now but I like to cook a lot of food so that I don't have to cook every day. I have 1/2 of the casserole left which I am sure will be gone in a probably a day or 2. It is pretty filling. Glad you like the pic. I wanted to let everyone see how good your recipe came out.
I see you are from San Jose. I grew up there and lived on the Eastside from 9 years old on. I now live in Modesto.
