Reminds me of my childhood. I first had (or even heard the word ambrosia) when my uncle came home on leave from the army one time for Thanksgiving and he made ambrosia. He'd learned it somewhere he'd been stationed, I suppose. I just remember thinking this was just about the best thing I'd ever tasted. Thank you for sharing and I'm sorry I haven't come across this before now.
