This is the Deep Dish Chicken Pot Pie, that I made and gave to my Helper to serve her family for dinner. With this Pie, I ran out of the crust for the top and chose to use Pillsbury Crescent Dinner Rolls cut into strips with the fluted pastry cutter, and it turned out as you can see just BEAUTIFUL. I had planned to freeze one large bowl of left over chicken and dumplings to make it much easier the next time I made it, but chose to Give it away instead, she loved the idea, and her family loved the dinner idea. Next time I think I will purposely add a pie crust to the bottom and use Strips of crescent dinner Rolls for the top. It worked out fine.
