Baked This Today. I Am A Big Lover Of Choc. Cake With Choc Frosting/icing. This Cake Reminds Me Of The One My Mother Used To Bake Us When We Were Kids. The Box Cakes Were Not As Good Back Then, And She Never Bought One (that I Knew Of).

Baked this today. I am a big lover of choc. cake with choc frosting/icing. This cake reminds me of the one my mother used to bake us when we were kids. The box cakes were not as good back then, and she never bought one (that I knew of).

I have baked this cake for over 40 years!! I call it Texas Fudge Cake. Sometimes for a little bit of "spice"...I add a tsp of cinnamon! Try it ..you'll like it!! Best dang cake y'all!
