Same here Rose I LOVE LOVE LOVE your cooking and especially your desserts, & the POUND CAKES MORE SO, I have all of your pound cake recipes saved in a Coiled Bound Favorite Recipes as I love baking desserts, although I have never gotten one of those blue ribbons for any of my dessert recipes, I am hoping that one day when I least expect it, that I will get one. That probably is why it turned up like that Rose BECAUSE OF HOW YOU SMOOTHED OUT THE TOP, but that creates Character in the cake, and makes it taste even better, I am sure smile. I know you are probably like me, want it to look perfect in every way, but that doesn't always happen, but as long as it cooked completely, that is the most IMPORTANT THING. That recipe is sooooo GORGEOUS, YOU DID AN AMAZING JOB GIRLFRIEND, so glad and happy that you shared your masterpiece with us.
