The loaf on the front right is higher than the rest of the loaves, and is an experiment using a second rising. The texture was much better. My husband, an extreme critic of whole wheat bread, was very pleased with this loaf! Thanks so much, Carol!
I made this bread yesterday & I was so shocked at how easy it was. I normally just use my bread machine as I have no luck with bread rising. Thanks for the great recipe. My family loved it. I used half wheat flour & half white flour. I also used the tip of turning on the light in my oven for a place to rise the bread!!!!
