lol! I can see the labtop, but you are the only one I ever heard of that travels with cookbooks. You are a jewel. It is so rare to be able to say that. Your hubby must be in heaven to of found you.
Stormy, it is so easy to make... I don't have a pasta machine right now... so I roll the dough with a regular rolling pin... cut it for what I am making... and either freeze it or cook it... Fresh is the best! It doesn't take as long to cook as the kinds you buy in a store either.... You can make it super thin or super thick...
If you don't care for real pasta: try spaghetti squash, or cut long thin strips of zucchini, cook till desired tendernes and serve with favorite sauce.
For spices.... salt and pepper to taste... and sometimes garlic powder.... When we are done eating the veggies as a side dish.... we throw them into pasta sauce!
