I went to the store this evening and they had peaches on sale! I bought some as well as the peach jello but I don't think the peaches will be ready by tomorrow (even though they are in a paper bag).

They will be ready eventually! ;-) (nudge nudge)

SS...were picking frest peaches now.

Do you think you could fit all the fruit (and glaze) into one pie shell, as Collen Sowa's Mile High Strawberry Pie?

I'd like to make this for a friend tomorrow (if I can find any ripe peaches...it's a little early) and I'd love to pile it. ;-)

I do and so does my Hubby, he like for me to fix fresh peach cobblers as he like a lot of crust.....hot with ice cream.

I plan to try it soon...I see there are several 'fresh peach pie' recipes on here. All similar but just a bit different on all of them.

You must love peach pies too Cindy. You should try this recipe of Freda's and see just how easy and wonderful it is. I know that is why is was a success for my anyway. :-)

Thanks Cindy...my mother fell in love with this recipe of Freda's. She called me from camp today and said she could bring me home some peaches as long as I promised to make her another pie. hehe
What's funny is my Mom isn't a pie eater usually. It is my father who loves fruit pies.
