Paula, this is a Blast from the past, during my early childhood years. My mama made this a lot, to stretch a meal so we would all get full. Most people do not eat neckbones nowadays. My husband had never eaten them before, he met me, but we were a lot poorer than he was growing up, so I did eat a lot of foods that he had never had before. I have introduced him to quite a few different food dishes, Grits, and Southern Style Greens are just 2 of the many foods I have introduced him too.
