Oops, forgot to address a few people wondering what could be substituted for nuts. My personal opinion, crunchiness is in the topping without the nuts. I used them but it sure wouldn't ruin the coffee cake just keeping the nuts out. This cake IS OUTSTANDING. Really good with my Vanilla Glaze.
