Made The Cake On Sunday. I'm Vegetarian So I Just Left Out The Gelatin Part Of The Recipe. I Hear There Is A Vegetarian Substitute Called Kojell, But Couldn't Find It At The Store And Not Sure If They Have Flavors. Very Light!

I Made This Cake But Tweaked The Recipe A Little Bit To Cut Sugar, Calories, And Cholesterol And It Was More Of A Dessert Cake Rather Than Birthday Cake.  It Was Awesome And Everyone Loved It...word Got Out Not Just Around The Office, But The Whole Bldg!

Today I will make the cake. I read every page of comments and kind of scared since it is for work. I will mix and decide if I use all of the jello powder. I. Will do the same when I add the wine. Maybe dilute with some water so that I have enough liquid. I am going to toss the berries in part of the flour to see if that will keep the berries from sinking. Going to use a bundt pan and make two layers. Will post later on the outcome since I haven't changed any of the ingredients. Kind of hard to post a comment if I change the recipe too much. Seen others do that which for me is rude to the chef. They change it then say it didn't taste right. Duh. Happy day to everyone. Don't be too envious of the wonderful smell in my kitchen...lol.
