sure glad you corrected Henrie from fiend to a friend - bet Henrie is glad you did too LOL

just zip on over to Holland and pick you up a bottle of ChocoVine... worth the trip I guarantee ya! Besides, I personally would much rather go to Holland to get it than to WalMart. happy day to you & yours~!

LOL Phyllis- no I'm from Auckland - North Island - but I have lived in Dunedin (southern). Have experienced that wonderful southern hospitality in Savannah when staying with my very dear fiend Henrie who is also a member of J A P- LOVE the Southern States(especially the FOOD)!!! also love the sound of your evenings entertainment- since you demolished the "bottle" theres none left to put in a plastic bottle to mail me -hmmmmmm! and as I dont have Walmart here seems I'll have to "do without" :(

OK - all jokes aside for a moment -- I must tell you all that I served this wonderful delicious Cream Cheese Pound Cake with fresh whipped cream & strawberries, raspberries, blueberries - along with a bottle of ChocoVine Raspberry Wine and the RAVES were awesome!! Everyone loved the cake with 'lots of butter & lots of eggs' and no calories! A couple of us pretty much demolished the Rasp ChocoVine bottle. It was a perfect compliment to the dessert. And yes, this wine (a product of Holland) can be found at WalMart and HEB markets.

Norma - kiwi ingenuity LOL.... you're from SOUTHERN New Zealand so you do know about "southern" hospitality right...

LOL love your sense of Humour Phyllis!!!! AND I know all about that Southern hospitality! had some of it in Savannah- thats why I chose GA on my profile. At the time I joined there was no option for a State outside of the States (and I really Really wanted to be a member)--Think they call that "Kiwi ingenuity" and I dont know how thats spelt :) Kitchen crew tell me they have now gone "global"

New Zealand Norma? Shows GA on your profile. but sure - a 24 hour flight oughta get you here.... I made it from Texas to Guam in about 16 hours I think it was! I'll make a whole new cake just for you should you decide to come to Texas.... how's THAT for Southern hospitality....AND you'd be ready for your very own ChocoVine Wine Bottle too!! Wonder if it can be mailed to you? Not sure about the laws of mailing ChocoVine though. I'm gonna get kicked off here with my silly humor - someone might actually take me serious. Enjoy your day. I'm off to get ready to go serve these treats...

LOL you done it again thanks !! dont think I have ever seen that here in New Zealand -maybe I should pop around to your place (a quick 24 hour flight should do it). Not much left by then I fear!
I WILL look for that desert wine - just may import it -you never know

Norma, I'm serving it tonight... but I had to taste it first of course - nobody will even notice one piece is missing since I sliced it and filled the gap with a dish of berries. The taste is awesome - blunder and all. Glad you got smiles from it and lifted your spirits. If you really want lifting try that ChocoVine chocolate/raspberry dessert wine with the cake... 14% spirits will be soaring LOL

Thanks ladies - I highly recommend this recipe - you can do your own "take" on it of course... I just wanted a pretty presentation for my friends so I added whipped cream & berries if they want it that way.
