I spent many years in Chicago. Loved going down to the old Maxwell Street location for some really good Italian Beef or Polish Sausage sandwiches. Let me know how yours turn out.
Russ: Thank you so much for this recipe. I am born and raised in Chicago and I have found no sandwich that even resembles the ones made there. Yours is the closest I have found to the ones I had there. I am going to make them this week-end. I may have some questions for you, if that is alright.
