Well, here it is. Out of the oven in 55 minutes. Now to wait several hours to take it out of the pan. Oh the waiting is the worst part! Smells soooooo good. 8/5/13
Put half of the batter in the greased and floured tube pan and sprinkled with half of the nuts, cinnamon and brown sugar mixture. It accidentally dumped a little too much on one side; but I'm sure that won't matter.
Thx Holly...my wife will be thrilled your family liked her coffee cake (recipe from my side of the family :) )...check out Cherie's recipes...she is really a great cook. For me, you will see I do all the outdoor/wildgame dishes. Hope you post some recipes...you'll love it here in JAP and you might get a blue ribbon to boot!
Hi! back Dan; finally got the chance to make the cake tonight, my family ( consisting of hubby a 19 yr old young man and a 13 yr old young man) you know the bottomless pit kind, they wouldn't wait for it to completely cool, they absolutely loved it, so it is a definite keeper in my house, thanks so much for the recipe, I will have to check back and see what else you have, I guess with all the recipes I have tried and loved maybe I should start posting some of mine soon, it's only fair. :)
