the first time I made Hasty Pudding was in elementary school when my class was studying the founding of America in New England. I used a recipe I found in a book at the public library. The pudding came out okay, but rather chewing and I ate it with butter and brown sugar. I live now in the South and the recipe reminds me of grits. I prefer Cream of Wheat as I am a Northerner. I don't like grits.
