I love Teresa's pie shield design. I used a combination of pecan pieces and pecan halfs.

Our Oven Bakes A Tad On The Hot Side. I Found The Top Browsing A Bit Too Much So With 10-20min Left I Placed The Round Of Foil I Had Cut Out To Make The Shield On Top. Worked Like A Charm!
