I am an accomplished Chili cook have been cooking in competition since 1979. I make my own chili spices as well as BBQ rubs and sauces. I like experimenting. I like restoring my 1946 Willys jeep and building a chuck box for the back of it to take to local cook offs.
I like french cooking and dabble in the rustic old farm recipes. I also collect old cook books. I grow heirloom tomatoes from seed as well as other veggies and highly recommend Baker Creek for seed selection. I plan on sharing some of my families favorite dishes and hope to learn a thing or two from the members of this site.
