AA degree in Culinary Arts. Worked as a cook in several restaurants since I was 16 years old. Joined the Navy when I was in my 20s and spent 20 years in the Navy Reserves as a Mess Specialist.
Cooked for my family of 7 since I was in the 3rd grade until I went away to school. After I got married and had children of my own I began to can and preserve food in all types of ways. Our convenience meals are those items that I have canned to make fast meal prep easy. Although I no longer cook professionally, cooking for those around me is still a very important part of my life.
