I'm an avid home cook and contest competitor having won several contests, have had recipes published in a national food magazine and the 2015 Just a Pinch Top 100 Cookbook. I've competed for the past three years at the World Food Championships, making the top 10 in the Burger category this year in Orange Beach, Alabama. I love grilling and smoking but also enjoy putting up a stew or soup on the stove and letting it simmer for hours as their aromas fill the house. We have 7 grandchildren. They are a blessing and I am thankful for every minute I get to spend with them.
