Perfectly ripe avocado, thinly sliced and/or spread on a thick piece of toasted whole grain bread is just a lovely (and healthy) way to start your day. But - why stop at just avocado? We just adore the combo of berries and avocado (this idea works with blackberries, blueberries and raspberries as well), so adding them to our avocado toast was a no-brainer. We’re big, big fans of caprese anything and avocado toast is no exception. Perfectly ripened avocado topped with creamy mozzarella, cherry tomatoes, fresh basil and then our favorite balsamic glaze...holy heaven in my mouth. It all just pairs so perfectly together, it’s a breakfast we wouldn’t mind eating for all of our meals.
