You should eat healthy all the time. Fruits and veggies should be a regular part of your diet all year long! I make a big pot of soup twice a week in the winter. It's great to come home to, here up north in Canadian winters!

I used to think that until I discovered that I have a lot of food intolerances about 30 years ago. Until I got those pretty much under control, I had to do some sort of "detox" a couple of times a year to keep my body functioning well. Sometimes the body needs some help to get rid of additional toxins. And teas, or soups or even lemon water each morning can help with this. Doing a yearly or semi-annual detox can make an amazing difference if your body needs the additional boost, if not,that's great. But each body is different.

Detox isn't a thing unless you're detoxing from drugs and alcohol. The liver and kidneys do the 'detoxing', not food.
