Ingredients

2 Tbsp
brown sugar
1 Tbsp
cornstarch
1/4 tsp
salt
1 c
pineapple tidbits, unfrained
16 oz
can sliced beets, drained
1 Tbsp
butter
1 Tbsp
lemon juice

Step-By-Step

1In a saucepan, mix broen sugar, cornstarch and salt. Add pineapple; bring to a boil, stirring constantly, until thick, about 2 minutes. Add beets, butter and lemon juice, cook over medium heat for 5 minutes. Stirring occasionally. Makes 4 servings.
