Once you try this tomato pie I think you will like it. I had it when I was a kid . It was my grand mothers recipe.

Ingredients

1
9 inch pie shell baked and cooled
4 large
tomatoes peeled and sliced
1 small
onion
1 Tbsp
fresh basil
1 tsp
fresh chives
1 c
mayo
1 c
grated chedder cheese

Step-By-Step

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees
2Sprinkle tomatoes with salt and drain on a paper towel.
3Place layer of tomato,onion, salt, pepper, basil and chives in pie shell.
4Blend mayo and cheese together and spread over top of pie.
5Bake at 300 degrees until bubbly. Makes one pie
