Ingredients

1 pkg
(10 oz.) frozen corn
1 pkg
(10 oz.) frozen baby lima beans
3 Tbsp
butter
salt and pepper to taste

Step-By-Step

1Bring about 1 cup of water to boil in a medium saucepan. When water boils, add 1/2 tsp. salt and lima beans. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer 10 minutes.
2After 10 minutes, add corn, raise the heat to high and bring to a second boil. Reduce heat and simmer, covered, for 5 more minutes.
3Pour off water and add butter; stir until melted. Add salt and pepper to taste. Serve while hot.
