Ingredients

2 Tbsp
cornstarch
1/4 c
water
14 oz
chicken broth homemade or canned if canned low salt
1 lb
brussels sprouts
2 tsp
prepared dijon style mustard
2 tsp
lemon juice
1 pinch
red pepper flakes

Step-By-Step

1Dissolve cornstarch in 1/4 cup water set aside.
2In a medium saucepan over medium heat, bring chicken broth to a boil.
3Add Brussels sprouts and cook until tender, strain reserving chicken broth and place Brussels sprouts in a warm serving dish.
4Return chicken broth to stove top stir in mustard sauce and lemon juice and return to a boil. Add cornstarch mixture cook ans stir until thickens. Pour over Brussel sprouts and serve
