Ingredients

3 large
vidalia onions
1 c
sugar
1 c
cider vinegar
several
whole cloves (optional)

Directions Step-By-Step

Peel onions and slice thinly.

Separate into rings.

Boil sugar, vinegar and cloves for 3 minutes.

Drop in onion rings.

Cook 3 minutes.

Store in covered container. A 1 quart canning jar is fine.

Keeps well in refrigerator.
