Sesame chicken w/ oriental cream dip

I always use this recipe as a fall back when I'm pressed for time because it's so simple. To make it even simpler, you can buy chicken strips already cut up for you!

Ingredients

1/3 c
lower-sodium soy sauce
2 tsp
minced garlic
1 tsp
dark sesame oil
1/2 tsp
ground ginger
1 lb
boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips
6 oz
low-fat whipped cream cheese with garlic and herbs
2 Tbsp
green onions, finely chopped
2 Tbsp
toasted sesame seeds
1 Tbsp
olive oil

Directions Step-By-Step

In medium bowl, whisk the soy sauce, garlic, sesame oil and ginger. reserve 2 Tbsp and pour the rest into a lg resealable plastic bag. Add chicken strips to the bag, seal, turn to coat. Refrigerate 2 hrs, turning the bag over occasionally.

In another medium bowl, lightly beat the cream cheese and reserved marinade. Stir in the green onion. Cover and refrigerate.

Remove chicken from marinade, discarding marinade. Place sesame seeds on a plate, roll chicken strips in seeds to coat. In lg skillet, heat olive oil over med-high heat. Add chicken. Stir-fry for about 5-7 mins or until golden brown. Serve chicken strips with the Oriental cream dip.
