berry almond chicken salad

This is definitely one of my husbands favorite salads. We first tried it at Wendy's. I have made this salad a number of times, now I would like to share it with you. Please give this salad a try for a real summer treat. The ingredients are up to you on how much for each plate to use. The amounts I have given are approximate only for each salad plate. Enjoy

Ingredients For berry almond chicken salad

  • use your own judgement on amounts. depends on the number of salad plates you are making.
  • chicken breasts or thighs cooked and cut into large chunks
  • blueberries
  • strawberries
  • asiago cheese grated
  • almonds blanched, toasted
  • store bought raspberry dressing
  • mixed field greens

How To Make berry almond chicken salad

  • 1
    On individual salad plates place a couple of handfuls of field greens
  • 2
    Add to each plate 1/2 cup of cooked chicken cut into large chunks
  • 3
    Add to each plate 1/4 cup blueberries and 1/2 cup of halved strawberries
  • 4
    Sprinkle 1/8 cup toasted almonds or to taste
  • 5
    Sprinkle Asiago grated cheese over each salad plate or to taste
  • 6
    Add the Raspberry dressing
