I needed a salad recipe to feed a crowd - this worked just great!

Ingredients

head iceberg lettuce
3 or 4
ripe tomatoes, cut in eighths
1 c
swiss cheese, cut in julienne strips
1 c
ham, cut in julienne strips, or turkey or shrimp
1/2 c
green spanish olives, pitted
4 tsp
grated romano cheese
1/4 c
white wine vinegar
1 c
extra-virgin spanish olive oil
8 clove
garlic, minced
2 tsp
worcestershire sauce
salt and pepper to taste
2 tsp
oregano, dried
4 tsp
lemon juice

Directions Step-By-Step

Toss all salad ingredients in a bowl, except Romano Cheese.

Mix garlic, oregano, and Worcestershire sauce in a bowl. Beat until smooth with a wire wisk. Add olive oil, gradually beating to form an emulsion. Stir in vinegar and lemon juice and season with salt and pepper.

Add dressing to salad and toss well. Add Romano cheese and toss one more time.
