This is a Ron Douglas copycat recipe. He says you cant tell the difference, and neither can I! It came with no flour to seasonings ratio. I used 2 cups of flour and doubled the seasonings. Turned out prefect!
Double the seasonings, mix into the 2 cups of flour. beat 2 eggs with 2 tsp. of water, set aside. If you want crispy chicken, crumble up 4 cups of plain cornflakes. First dip chicken into egg mixture, then into flour mixture, then back ino egg mixture, the dip into cornflakes (cornflakes are optional).
I use the cornflakes for crispy chicken, so I use a cast iron skillet with oil to fry. It keeps the cornflakes intact. Once I heat up the oil I turn the burner down on low heat to prevent burning the cornflakes. Cook until golden brown.
