Slow Cooker Crock Pot

Ingredients

1 1/2 lb
london broil, cut into 1 1/2 " cubes (any kind of beef would work)
4 medium
red potatoes, with skin n cut into cubes
2 large
carrots, cut into 1" pieces
1 large
onion, chpd.
2 large
celery stalks, cut into 1" pieces
1 tsp
fresh thyme
2 c
red wine
2 c
beef broth
1/4 c
flour
salt n pepper

Directions Step-By-Step

IN A BOWL SPRINKLE MEAT CUBES WITH SALT N PEPPER
THEN MIX IN FLOUR. IN LARGE SAUTE PAN HEAT UP 3 TBLSP. VEG OIL N BROWN MEAT...AFTER THIS IS DONE ADD CHPD ONION N SAUTE FOR 3 MORE MIN N PUT THIS INTO SLOW COOKER.

NOW POUR WINE INTO PAN N BRING TO A BOIL WHILE SCRAPING UP BROWN BITS ON BOTTOM OF PAN. ADD THYME N BEEF BROTH. LET THIS HEAT UP, THEN POUR THIS MIXTURE CAREFULLY INTO SLOW COOKER N ADD POTATOES, CARROTS, N CELERY. COOK ON LOW FOR 8 HOURS...MIX HALFWAY THRU.
