I HAD A PACKAGE OF MINUTE STEAK N DECIDED TO MAKE BEEF N BROCCOLI UNTIL HUSBAND DEAR SAID HE WASN'T IN THE MOOD FOR IT! SOOOOOO JUST LIKE A GOOD WIFE I CHANGED MY DINNER PLANS N CAME UP WITH THIS......VERY GOOD IF I SAY SO MYSELF N U WILL TOO :)

Ingredients

top round minute steaks, sliced into 2" pieces

red wine (3/4 cup mayb)

worcestershire sauce

olive oil, divided

mushrooms, sliced

beef consomme (condensed broth)

prepared mustard

of each..... salt n pepper
2 Tbsp
cornstarch
1/3 c
sour cream
2 Tbsp
cream cheese, room temp

Directions Step-By-Step

MARINATE BEEF WITH RED WINE, GRATED GARLIC N WORCHESTSHIRE SAUCE IN A FLAT PLATE OR ZIPLOCK BAG FOR AN HOUR.

IN A LARGE SAUTÉ PAN ADD 1 TBLSPNS OF BUTTER N 1 TBLSPNS OF OLIVE OIL N ON MED HIGH HEAT LIGHTLY COOK BEEF (discard marinade). ADD 1/4 TSP OF SALT N PEPPER THEN REMOVE BEEF W/JUICE N PUT ASIDE.

IN SAUTÉ PAN ADD REST OF BUTTER N OLIVE OIL N ADD MUSHROOMS N BROWN A BIT (do not stir) FOR ABOUT 3 minutes THEN ADD ONIONS N SAUTÉ FOR AN ADDITIONAL 2 MINUTES .....1/4 TSP EACH SALT N PEPPER.

ADD BEEF N JUICES BACK INTO PAN WITH VEGGIES N POUR IN BEEF CONSOMMÉ . STIR IN MUSTARD N COVER PAN N SIMMER FOR 1/2 HOUR.

REMOVE 1/4 CUP OF JUICE N ADD 2 TBLSPNS OF CORN STARCH MIX UNTIL SMOOTH...STIR BAK INTO PAN TO THICKN GRAVY.

STIR IN SOUR CREAM N CREAM CHEESE UNTIL WELL COMBINED. SERVE OVER EGG NOODLES N SPRINKLE WITH PARSLEY (optional)......ENJOY :)
