Ingredients

1 Tbsp
unsalted butter, melted
1 c
brown sugar, firmly packed
1
egg
1 1/2 c
all purpose flour
1 c
milk
pinch
salt
1
pastry for double-crust 8-inch pie

Step-By-Step

1Preheat oven to 325 F.
2Mix butter and brown sugar. Stir in egg. Sift flour with salt and add to the sugar mixture; stirring to incorporate thoroughly.
3Add milk. Mix until smooth. Pour in bottom crust and set top crust in place, crimping edges and cutting a 1/2-inch hole in middle of top crust.
4Bake for 45 minutes, or until set. Remove and allow to completely cool on wire rack.
