Creamy Strawberry Pie
|Serves:||Makes filling for 9x12 cake pan|
|8 oz||cream cheese, softened|
|1/2 c||powdered sugar|
|2 c||sliced fresh strawberries|
|1 c||granulated sugar|
|2 c||crushed strawberries|
|1||deep dish pie shell -i used chocolate graham cracker crust|

Double pie crust recipe for this recipe for 9x13 dish or deep dish 9-inch pie.
This one is made with Crisco crust.
In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
Spread over cooled crust, arrange sliced berries on top.
Bring to a boil and cook and stir for 2 to 3 minutes until thickened. Cool slightly.
Spoon over sliced berries Smooth evenly. Chill until serving.
