Kadijah's Notes:

I always aim for quick meals and desserts when I create things. This is a Grand Slam. My Family love these. It's a must bring to every summer time BBQ.

Directions

1
Prep. Take your package of fresh strawberries wash them. Slice an X into the top of the strawberry. Set them aside to dry. After about 2-3 min chill in the fridge
2
Take the whipped cream ( cool whip extra creamy or any local store brand will do) and the 1 package of pudding and fold them together until well blended. Slowly add the 1 package of soften cream cheese to the mix. Then add the 1 1/2 tea spoons of vanilla extract to the filling. after the filling is well mixed remove from bowl place in a 1 gallon Freezer bag (Ziploc) and chill for 30-35 min.
3
Remove from fridge and snip one end of the freezer bag (you will use the freezer bag as a piping bag) Remove the strawberries from the fridge. Squeeze a nice amount of filling into the X you cut into the strawberry and voila. Plate and ENJOY!!!!

Yes a 8 oz package will be fine. ( unless you are serving a large group of people) it should make about 2/3 cups maybe 4 at most.

I am having trouble finding the "packet extra creamy whipped cream". Can use cool whip?

this recipe is just too vague. how large is a packet of strawberries? how large is a packet of cheesecake flavored pudding? instant pudding? i see someone asked about how large a packet of cream cheese and was answered. this recipe needs to be more specific!

I agree that it's a little vague..do you just mix in the jello instant pudding powder or do you actually make the pudding and then mix that in? I imagine it's just the powder if it only makes 2 or 3 cups...probably answered my own question lol I did however send hubby out for whipped cream and got the canned reddi whip instead...oops! Still excited to try the recipe, thanks for sharing!

I guessed on the amount of cool whip to use since I could not find the packets and it worked out. I like to make a recipe exact to the directions the first time; them make changes later. This one worked out alright. Had to beat fingers to keep them out of the mix so I would have enough to fill the berries. I put the stuff in my "ninja" blender to make sure the cream cheese didn't have lumps and it was fabulous.
