Ingredients

1/4 c
butter, softened
1 small
egg -- or -- if using larger egg, beat egg in a cup and use half for recipe, and save other half for something else
1/4 c
milk
1/4 tsp
vanilla extract
1/3 c
sugar
1 c
all purpose flour
1/4 tsp
salt
1 tsp
baking powder
1 c
fresh blueberries

TOPPING

1/4 c
sugar
1/4 c
all purpose flour
1/4 c
butter, softened
1/4 tsp
cinnamon

Directions Step-By-Step

In a small bowl, cream together the butter, sugar, egg, milk, and vanilla.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, and baking powder. Gently stir in blueberries and add to the sugar mixture.

Spread mixture into a greased or sprayed 8-inch square or round baking pan.

In a small bowl, mix the topping ingredients together until they resemble coarse crumbs. Sprinkle evenly over batter.

Bake in a preheated 375-degree oven for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
