Ingredients

SHORTBREAD COOKIES

1 c
butter (room temp)
1 tsp
rum or vanilla extract (or any flavor of your choice)
1/2 c
pdr sugar ( icing sugar)
1/2 c
cornstarch
1 c
flour
1/4 tsp
salt
optional: cherries, chopped nuts, or sprinkles for decoration

Step-By-Step

1Preheat Oven @ 325 degrees.
Note: (do not grease Cookie sheets)
WHIP butter Until Light & Fluffy.
Add Flavoring, Whip well
2Add Pdr Sugar, Cornstarch, Flour & Salt, Mixing Completely
3Fill your Cookie Press, &, or Drop by teaspoons on to Ungreased Cookie Sheet.
(Optional)
Cherries, Nuts, & Sprinkles can be added Now, then baked.
4Bake @ 325 Degrees for 8-10 Minutes. ( Do not let these Brown)
