These make a crispy, yet soft in the middle choc chip cookie.
The recipe came from a mag clipping and must have been from the Crisco folks, bc there is a pict of butter flavored crisco in the bottom of the recipe.

Ingredients

3/4 c
butter flavored crisco
1 1/4 c
light brown sugar, packed
2 Tbsp
milk or cream
2 tsp
vanilla
1 large
egg
1 3/4 c
all purpose flour
1 tsp
salt
3/4 tsp
baking soda
1 c
semi sweet chocolate chips (i like the minis here)
1 c
chopped walnuts

Step-By-Step

1Pre heat oven to 375°
2Combine Crisco, sugar, milk and vanilla in a large bowl.
3Beat until creamy, then add the egg into the creamed mixture.
4Sift together the flour, salt and baking soda, add into the creamed mixture.
5Stir the nuts and chocolate chips into the batter.
6Either spray cookie sheets with non stick spray or use parchment paper.
7Drop cookies about 1 inch apart by rounded tablespoons, or do what I do and use a disher. I prefer the disher bc it makes the cookies all the same size.
8Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, being carefull not to over bake.
