Mary Ann's Notes:

My mother always made these at Christmas when I was a kid and for wedding/baby showers. Everyone always loved them! I liked helping her make them because it was so good to snitch a bite or two!

Comments from the Test Kitchen: Kitchen Crew

An, easy, delicious sweet treat! We can't wait to make these again and take them to church.

2
Add undiluted juice and nuts. Mix well.

How about leaving addtional sugar out? Would it still be tastey but healthier?

I accidentally did that once and they were not as good. But, I suppose you could try Splenda instead. I haven't tried it in these, but I frequently use it in other recipes.
