Mrs. Wolfe's Sugar Cookies

Mrs. Wolfe was another church lady who influenced me in my early teen years. Her daughter and I were good friends and classmates, and she made some of the best tuna salad anywhere.

Her recipe for sugar cookies has always been a favorite in my family. My brother's first comment was, "These cookies are GOOD."

Sometimes I sprinkle nonpareils in the dough, especially for holidays. They look festive like that.
