unsweetened applesauce
1/2 c
granulated sugar
1/2 c
brown sugar, lightly packed
1 Tbsp
butter or vegetable oil
1/4 c
powdered baking cocoa
1/4 tsp
salt
2 c
quick cooking oats
1 c
walnuts, chopped
1/2 tsp
vanilla extract

Directions Step-By-Step

Simmer applesauce gently for 5 minutes in a saucepan. Add sugar, butter, and cocoa. Boil for 1 minute. Remove from heat and immediately add the quick oatmeal, walnuts, and vanilla extract. Mix well. Drop by teaspoonfuls or Tablespoon onto foil . Keep refrigerated. Enjoy!
